Building a Framework for LLM Projects

Leo has numerous ideas for things that could be done with LLMs such as ChatGPT. He worked on a core set of technologies that can be used to accelerate his development of those projects. The goal is that with every project, the core set becomes more robust and more useful for future projects.

Summary

Leo started the presentation providing context of how he started working with LLMs. He had worked on a project reliant on the Twitter API which had become unviable with the new pricing.

When you abstract out that project though, Leo was working on allowing humans to use their capabilities and preferences to augment algorithms. LLMs are filled with opportunities to experiment with that intent.

Since Leo knew he was going to work on several ideas, he started a framework to use as a base for each one of those projects.

Group discussion involved:

  • Alternative queueing systems to Redis
  • How developers with no AI experience can start learning about AI
    • It is easier than most people think. Langchain is an excellent start.
